Govt. ETEI Tudigadia is one of the oldest teachers training institutions of Odisha. It was established in the year 1949 in the name of Basic Training institutions. Basic training to fulfill the lively hood was the main motto at that time. To fulfill the trained teachers in elementary Schools of post independent Odisha on dt 01.03.1969 it’s name was changed to C.T (Certified Teacher).
